Switch, Cradlepoint team to target Aussie businesses
Australian managed service provider Switch Telecom has partnered with networking solutions company Cradlepoint to service enterprise customers in the local market.
The two companies have announced their first joint customer wins, including a contract to provide managed network services to construction company Renascent.
Under the agreement, Switch is providing a managed solution powered by Cradlepoint’s IBR900 wireless WAN routers to help Renascent digitise its operations. The solution includes centralised device management provided by Cradlepoint NetCloud Manager to allow staff to move between locations and be immediately connected to the internet.
The second joint contract is with Guardian Childcare and Education, a group running over 150 childcare centres across metropolitan NSW, Victoria, ACT, Queensland and South Australia. The joint agreement involves providing reliable failover broadband connectivity at the childcare centres using the Cradlepoint range of 4G connectivity solutions, managed by Switch via NetCloud Manager.
Switch CTO David Tibben said the partnership has vast potential. “Combining Cradlepoint and NetCloud Manager with our existing products and services enables us to provide top-level service and support for our customers,” he said. “Going to site to troubleshoot issues has been minimised substantially, and customer outages and internet dropouts are a thing of the past, which has improved our teams’ efficiency and productivity.”
